Fleet Parents

Fleet Parents started very small
When just a few took part
But as the group did grow and grow
It grew inside our heart

From just a site for gossip
It became the site to be
The answer to life's questions
As asked by you and me

"What is this rash upon my bum?"
"Where can I buy a curry?"
"How do I put a fire out?"
"Come on! I'm in a hurry!"

When Google fails, and let's us down
To fellow folk we turn
We ask them things quite obvious
When will we ever learn

Now if we're cross we take the chance
To ask all "What's that BANG?"
And "What's that chalk upon my road?"
Am I the target of a gang?

And when we step in dog poo
Or are knocked off of our bike
We look forward to balanced debate
The sort we really like

With around 300 commenting
8000 others reading
Beware the words we all write here
Is a habit we are feeding

So if you love or hate it
We all have to admit
It is a bit compulsive
Even though it's often sh*t

So give three cheers to Caroline
She set it up to test
An interest in local media
And it still remains the best
