Severn Valley Railway
From Kidderminster to Bewdley
Arley, Highley, Hampton Loade
And Finishing in Bridgenorth
Runs our cherished loved railroad.

With Steam and Diesel Engines
From an era days gone by
With sixteen miles of stunning scenes
Seventy minutes just flies by.

As we tour the Severn Valley
The views are quite sublime
As we bring back trains forgotten
And we keep them run to time.

And as the wind whips down the Valley
And the steam flows through our hair
There runs an A1 visitor
A Tornado's in the air.

Blowing through the countryside
Whistling through the trees
Billowing it's plumes of smoke
Whipping up the Autumn leaves.

Riding on a steam train
There is nothing can compare
And the Severn Valley Railway
Brings the magic, fire and flare.

Story behind the verse
My first entry into the Severn Valley Railway competition and the poem that started off my current interest in writting.
Having written it I noticed that I had not really read the instructions correctly so ended up writting Tornado.
